Cholesterol

CHOLESTEROL CMK is an almost odorless, white powder that is derived from wool grease, the by-product of wool scouring (washing). The wool grease is subjected to alkaline hydrolysis that yields Lanolin Alcohol from which the Cholesterol is extracted. CHOLESTEROL CMK fully meets the requirements of the United States National Formulary and the European Pharmacopoeia at a minimum 95% purity.

CHOLESTEROL CMK is the chosen grade for pharmaceutical manufacturing that includes Vitamin D3, steroid hormones and Cholesteryl Esters. Cholesterol is also used as a w/o emulsifying agent in cream and lotion, providing superior emulsifying and stabilizing properties.
